Just hanging out at the black sand beach when a Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) came up to have a little rest. Not very big by other sea turtle standards but quite impressive in its own right. About 2 1/2 feet long ts not nearly as graceful on land as they are in the water.
We were having a little breakfast when Pati came up with the idea of feeding these darn things.(Gekko gecko) If anything it rovided a good photo op. Still the same here in Hawaii. 80-85, partly cloudy, chance of rain
